APOEL took the top in Cyprus, Milanov did not play again
The APOEL (Nicosia) team has won a 2-1 win over AEL (Limassol) in a postponed match of the 2 nd round of the Cyprus Championship that was played today. With this victory the hosts climbed to the top of the standings, although they still have a match less than their rivals.
Bulgarian player Zhivko Milanov once again did not fall into the accounts of coach Yorgos Donis and was not even in the match group.
The guests first took the lead in Kevin Laffrans’s goal in the 43rd minute, but their joy was too short and in the 45th minute Mikael Poet equalized. In the 77th minute, Nuno Moraish of the penalty shot brought the victory of the team from Nicosia.
