Chelsea – Leicester City

Chelsea’s new manager Frank Lampard is going to lead the team for a first time at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday. The Blues host Leicester City in a game from the second round of the league. Let’s see what’s going on with these two sides on our predictions football 1×2.

Surely Frank Lampard dreamed about a better first week at the club. A week ago his team was crushed with 0-4 by Manchester United at the Old Trafford, while on Wednesday Chelsea lost the European Super Cup final against Liverpool in Istanbul. Now Chelsea’s fans are going to hope that Lampard will enjoy his first win against the Foxes on Sunday.

Chelsea were really unlucky against Liverpool on Wednesday, because they lost the game after penalties. Olivier Giroud and Jorginho scored for the Blues against the current European champion, but during the penalties the young striker Tammy Abraham saw his shot being saved by Adrian. It was a good game for the Londoners, but they didn’t have enough luck to lift the trophy at the end.

Leicester City kicked off their season in the Premier League with a draw. Brendan Rodgers’ boys hosted Wolverhampton Wanderers at the King Power Stadium, but the game ended without any goals being scored – 0-0. The new signings Yoeri Tielemans and Ayoze Perez debuted in the starting line-up for Leicester, but they were unable to help the team to win the game.

Leicester are going to hope for a Top 10 finish this season. The Foxes are doing pretty good since Brendan Rodgers replaced the sacked Claude Puel, so the fans are hoping of a solid performance during the campaign. Surely they have enough quality in the squad to do this.

These are our predictions football 1×2 for the Premier League fixture between Chelsea and Leicester City at the Stamford Bridge. The hosts will look for a first win, but make no mistake – it’s going to be really difficult against the Foxes.
