Half of Leicester’s outright by the end of the season
Leicester midfielder Vicente Ebora may miss the rest of the season in the Premier League because of the trauma of the sinuous tendon he received last weekend. This was announced by team manager Claude Puel. Ebora was injured in the 42th minute at the home loss of Newcastle 1: 2.
“Ebora has a sidelong trauma but he will not be able to play until the end of the season,” Puel told a press conference before Burnley’s Saturday visit.
This is a strike for the team, which is without midfielder Matty James, who has undergone an Achilles surgery. Wilfried Nadyd misses the match because of a penalty. Leicester ranks eighth with 43 asset points.
