Real Betis – Rennes
Rennes and Real Betis made a pure spectacle a week ago, when these two teams met in France in a first leg from the 1/16-finals of Europa League. The game at Roazhon Park ended with a thrilling 3-3 draw, which made the second leg even more interesting. Now these two sides will have to decide everything at the Estadio Benito Villamarin. Here are our vip soccer bets.
It was a crazy first game in Rennes. After just 9 minutes of playing, the French team already had a solid two goals advantage. Adrien Hunou opened the score after just two minutes of playing. Soon after this Betis’ Javi Garcia scored himself an own goal.
Until the halftime break two more goals were scored. Giovani Lo Celso scored for the Spanish team, but Hatem Ben Arfa made it 3-1 for Rennes.
In the second half it was all Real Betis on the pitch. Quique Setien’s boys showed their true strenght, ressurecting their chances with two vital goals in Tomas Koubek’s net. Sidnei made it 3-2, while Diego Lainez equalised in the last minute of the game after an assist from Jese. It was a great comeback from Real Betis in a moment when Rennes were in a terrific position.
Now we will expect to see these two teams doing it again in Seville. Because of these away goals scored and the home ground factor, Real Betis are favourites to progress. Quique Setien managed to build a very competent team which knows how to play football. But in the first leg Rennes showed that they are also a team which knows how to score a lot of goals.
These are our vip soccer bets for the Europa League 1/16-final clash between Real Betis and Rennes. Good luck!
