Roma will host Juventus

The first true Serie A derby for the season is going to be played on Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico. Roma will host Juventus and we have a feeling for a spectacle here. Let’s preview it in today’s free sure soccer tips.

For Roma this season started in a bad way. Because of a roster mistake the Wolves were punished with a 0-3 loss in the game against Hellas Verona. It was a stupid error which cost Roma their first defeat for the season. This should make them very motivated to do better and take something from Juventus on Sunday.

The manager Paulo Fonseca took some curious decisions against Hellas Verona. He put the Spanish goalkeeper Pau Lopez on the bench and replaced him with Antonio Mirante. Meanwhile the new signing Pedro Rodriguez started in attack and played the whole 90 minutes. Justin Kluivert started from the bench, but replaced Lorenzo Pellegrini in the last 10 minutes.

Juventus already started the Andrea Pirlo era at the club. The young manager debuted with a 3-0 win over Sampdoria at the Allianz Stadium. This was the best possible way for Pirlo to start his career as a manager in the Serie A.

Paulo Dybala was not ready to play, but he was not missed against Sampdoria. The new signing Dejan Kulusevski scored his first goal for the club while Leonardo Bonucci and Cristiano Ronaldo scored the other two.

For Juventus winning the Serie A is not much of a challenge at the moment. Andrea Pirlo is also aware that the club’s biggest dream right now is winning the Champions League. But it does not mean that Juve will underrestimate the Calcio of course.
