Russian Grands in a Red Star Defender dispute
Three of Moscow’s champions are fighting for the signature of Red Star Defender Damien Le Talec. He had already met with Montpellier, but he has received two very promising offers from champion Lokomotiv (Moscow) and Dynamo (Moscow) last week. Spartak (Moscow) is also interested in him, and the 28-year-old footballer admitted that he would be delighted to pass to the “red-and-white”.
“If I have a proposal from Spartak, it is possible that it would be nice to play again in Russia, but I have not decided yet,” said Le Tallec, who, before signing with Star, spent two seasons with the Mordovia team. Montpellier also do not intend to give up the defender and will offer him a new offer in the coming days. In France, there were reports that he could move to Dinamo (Zagreb).
Last season, Le Tallec played 26 matches and scored 1 goal in the Serbian championship, helping the Red Star to triumph with the title. In his career he also competed for Rennes, Borussia (Dortmund), Nantes and Hoover.
