Stoke chases Glen Johnson and Charlie Adam

Stoke manager Mark Hughes is ready to part with Glen Johnson and Charlie Adam in January. They will be another seasoned footballer who will leave the club. In the summer the potters parted with Jonathan Walters, Glenn Whelan and Phil Bardsley.

33-year-old Johnson did not fit into the group for Stoke’s last four matches but still receives a fairly high salary that the club wants to release. Scottish national Adam will also have to think about his future. He has two minutes played in the Premier League since the start of the season.

In contrast, Peter Krauch remains in the club. The 36-year-old striker today signed a new contract by the summer of 2019.
