Madzari began in Turin with an excellent result
Torino’s team beat 3-0 as host Bologna in Walter Madzarry’s debut at the head of the “Bulls.” The duel was from the 20th round of Series A and after its end Torrines occupy ninth position in the ranking with 28 points. Bologna is 12th with 24 points.
In the 39th minute Defender Lorenzo De Silvestri took Torino ahead in the result, after he headed the ball in the door of Antonio Mirante after a free kick.
The meeting could have developed quite differently if, at the beginning of the second half, Erik Pulgar had made a penalty for Cristian Molinaro against Simone Verdi. Interestingly, this judgment came after the referee Antonio Damatto had originally shown a yellow card for Verdi’s simulation but then consulted the VAR system and changed his mind by pointing to the white dot. Guard Salvatore Sriygu, however, saved Pulgar’s penalty shot and the “bulls” kept their fragile lead in the score.
Three minutes after the missed penalty – in 53nd, Mbaie Niang, made the score 2-0. He received a pass from Yago Falke, fired a defender of Bologna and with a precise shot sent the ball into the net.
Turin’s classical victory formed Falque with a blow to land in the 85th minute.
