Real Madrid and PSG
We just love huge football spectacles and the upcoming game between Real Madrid and PSG at the Santiago Bernabeu is one of these. It’s going to be a second leg from the Champions League 1/8-finals. Stay with us and our preview for the fixture.
The situation between these two teams look very tense. The French club won the first game with 1-0, but it’s far from enough to feel winners against Los Blancos. Real Madrid needs just one goal to get the tie back to even.
Now PSG’s manager Mauricio Pochettino is very worried from the latest news in his team’s camp – Kylian Mbappe could miss the game on Wednesday. The star striker got an injury in training so there’s a big chance he won’t play at the Bernabeu. That’s a terrible situation for PSG because Mbappe is their most influential player at the moment. It was him who scored the late winner in the first leg against Madrid at the Parc des Princes.
At the same time Real Madrid are having an important player missing as well. The German veteran Toni Kroos is sidelined with an injury which would seriously hurt the team’s dynamics in midfield. Against Real Sociedad he was replaced by the young Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga and there’s a big chance to see Camavinga start against PSG as well. Fede Valverde is another player Real Madrid can’t use right now because of injury.
It remains to be seen what Carlo Ancelotti will decide about his attack as well. Rodrygo started alongside Karim Benzema and Vinicius against Sociedad, but Marco Asensio is another option for the Italian manager. Asensio started in the first game in Paris, but he didn’t impress with his performance.
That’s the football prediction betting tips today for the Champions League 1/8-finals game between Real Madrid and PSG at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Let’s see if the hosts can turn this tie around!
