Sari’s agent is already negotiating with Chelsea
Napoli’s coach, Maurizio Sari, may be heading Chelsea next season. A number of media reported yesterday that his personal agent had arrived in London to negotiate with the leadership of the Stamford Bridge club.
Luis Enrique is still favorites, but it will not be a surprise if Sari replaced his compatriot Antonio Conte, who will certainly leave Chelsea. Napoli’s 59-year-old mentor has a clause in his contract that allows him to break him up against 8m euros. Sari leads Napoli in 2015, and this season has a real chance to bring the team to the title in the A Series. 4 rounds before the end, the souls are only lagging behind a point of champion Juventus.
Chelsea was dethroned by Manchester City in England and the team’s chances of finishing in the top 4 are minimal. This, as well as Conte’s strained relationship with the leadership, makes the Italian impossible to remain.
