In the Russian Premier League CSKA started the new season with some difficulties. They are not in the most consistent form they could be, which is the reason why CSKA are trailing on 7 points behind the leader Zenit. They are currently 5th in the league standings with 12 points and a record of 3 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss.

In their last game CSKA enjoyed a win, though. Viktor Goncharenko’s team celebrated a 3-0 win during the visit to Ufa. The goals in this game were scored by Fedor Chalov and Timur Zhamaletdinov.
